Versilia gay beach

Versilia gay beach

In 2003 the Lecciona free beach was voted as the best gay beach in Italy by the italian gay website Gay.it. Lecciona has been a gay beach since the 70’s and the wild dunal environment, protected by the Natural Park, has helped making this beach a private relaxing spot on the coast attracting year after year more gays and lesbians.

Try a walk along the shore and admire the beauties that come here on summer weekends, walking from Bocachica bar/restaurant towards Viareggio, you’ll get the straight first, then the curious ones, transexuals, lesbian girls and at the very end of your walk, the gay guys! The atmosphere is easy-going and familiar.
If you are into bathing establishments, Mama Beach is your place! Mama Mia, the first GLBT bathing establishment in Italy, boasts with fields where you can play volleyball or beach volley and is equipped with all the facilities that a bathing establishment should have.

If you have had enough of the Lecciona Beach or Torre (or simply want to avoid seeing your ex again…) try the many gay beaches in Tuscany.
